Raise magazine is changing

To better reflect the activities of Fundraising Media in the field of charity fundraising based cycling events, Raise magazine is changing its look and content from December 2011.

If you are a regular reader of Raise you may have noticed a gradual shift in our content over the past 12 months, with more cycling events being covered and many of the charities which we feature putting out requests for bike riders to fundraise on their behalf.

Fundraising Media, the company behind Raise magazine, are very much involved in this rapidly expanding field of vital charity fundraising and have helped raise around £60,000 for various charities in 2011. This is done through Ride2Raise, who are dedicated to offering unique, professional, PR-driven charity cycle events – maximising awareness, donations and support. Raise magazine will publicise future events to maximise rider participation and encourage more involvement from people of all ages. Raise will, in fact, become the magazine of Ride2Raise.

Raise will be published monthly. We will still be promoting the charities who benefit from the fundraising and, even if cycling isn’t your thing, maybe you will have family, friends or colleagues who would be interested in taking part in a charity cycle ride, and don’t know how to get involved? Or perhaps your group would like to raise a substantial amount of money for a specific charity, and would like the professional skills of Ride2Raise to arrange a ride and source riders. It could even be an annual event!

Maybe you will enjoy reading the inspiring stories of riders who have taken part in these tough and challenging rides, often for very sad and personal reasons.

You don’t need to do anything if you would like to continue your subscription to Raise magazine – and we really hope you will. But if you know anyone else who you think would like to receive Raise once a month, why not let them know about us? The more people who know about Raise and Ride2Raise, the better. New subscribers can sign up now to receive the first issue of the new Raise magazine. It’s going to be a great source of information and news about charity cycling events, and will be THE place to find out how you can join an amazing ride and raise money for a great cause.

If you or someone you know would like to find out more about how to take part in a Ride2Raise charity cycle event visit the Ride2Raise website HERE to find all the information you need.

If you represent a charity with your own cycling event which you would like to promote to our readers, and maybe increase donations or find some more riders to take part, contact us and we’ll let you know how we can help you. Our readership will consist of a large number of cyclists, and people in the cycling industry, and many of those will already have taken part in cycling events to raise funds for charity.

Thank you for supporting Raise magazine. And welcome to our new home!
